Hey Eagles!

I’m so excited to introduce myself as the VP Social for the 2026-2027 academic year! My name is Emily Yanch and with the help of my director, Julia Sebastian, we've got a lineup of so many fun trips, events and parties throughout the school year planned just for you.

From our annual trips like Montreal and Niagara Falls to on-campus events like tournament nights, bake-offs, and casino nights, there's always something fun happening! Whether you’re looking to travel and explore or just want to hang out with friends right here at York, we’ve got something for everyone. One of the highlights of our year is Formal, where we come together to celebrate everything we’ve accomplished, recognize standout students, and have fun!

Social events are a great way to meet new people, step out of your comfort zone and form connections that will last a lifetime. I’ve met so many of my close friends from going to social events at new college and I know those friendships will last a lifetime.
