Hello Eagles! I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Vice President of Athletics for the 2024-2025 academic year. My name is Jason Hoang, and I’m passionate about sports and creating opportunities for everyone to get involved. This year, along with your director athletics Mashrur, we are committed to making our intramural sports program not just fun but a meaningful way for students to engage in friendly competition. It’s a great chance to meet new people, stay active, and even win some awesome prizes. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just looking to try something new, there’s a place for you in our intramural leagues.

Intramural sports give students the opportunity to enjoy their favourite recreational sports, try new ones, or even get involved in E-sports. Students are able to create their own teams and compete against other colleges, earning Torch points along the way. These points go towards each college, earning them a chance to win the ultimate prize, The Torch, at the end of each academic year.
We’ll also be hosting events throughout the school year to help you have fun, make new friends, and enjoy your time here. Let’s make this year one to remember!
We’re excited to make your experience as memorable as possible. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us via Instagram @newcollegeathletics_ or email at athletics@newcollegecouncil.com. We look forward to seeing meeting you soon!
